September 2017: Gardening Reminiscences!

Sitting down for a few moments, after the holidays, blesses me with an opportunity for recollection and reflection of the gardening wonders which I have witnessed during the last few months.

The beautiful front garden which I drove past (and had to stop, photograph and speak to its creator) is definitely worth more than brief recollection.

The tomato plants, grown for fun in bottles in my greenhouse, shared with other members of my gardening group as we giggled our way through triumphs and tragedies.

Finally, my very first grapes!  The plant was bought in a pound shop three to four years ago and, contrary to its label, was not a muscat!  Interestingly, it is a beautiful purple grape, delicious for eating.  Definitely one of the best pounds which I have spent this decade!
