Summer provided the perfect opportunity to visit a Commuter Buddy who has escaped from the vagaries of Northern Rail (I am not complaining too much – I have spent years using the tube!) to the delights of Anglesey and a very short drive to work.
What a spectacular place!
On our way homeward, we stumbled upon a “Pick Your Own” farm. With memories of childhood escapades fondly resurrected, we stopped to pick strawberries and raspberries from a farm with, arguably, one of the best views in the UK!
There are definitely worse places to work – and live.
The return trip is already being planned…J!
