October 2017: Fascinating Autumn

This plant has never flowered before and, then, in September, this glorious display happened.  I was thrilled!  I have had the plant for twenty years and it was actually an interesting small shrub with a variegated leaf when we began our journey together…!!!

September 2017: Gardening Reminiscences!

Sitting down for a few moments, after the holidays, blesses me with an opportunity for recollection and reflection of the gardening wonders which I have witnessed during the last few months.

The beautiful front garden which I drove past (and had to stop, photograph and speak to its creator) is definitely worth more than brief recollection.

August 2017: Beautiful Anglesey

 

Summer provided the perfect opportunity to visit a Commuter Buddy who has escaped from the vagaries of Northern Rail (I am not complaining too much – I have spent years using the tube!) to the delights of Anglesey and a very short drive to work.
